The Africadian Empowerment Academy Announces New Interim Executive Director

Today marks a significant milestone in the history of the Africadian Empowerment
Academy. On November 1, Tanya Reddick Clayton officially became the Interim
Executive Director.

As Board President, I was honoured to pass the torch to Tanya at the conclusion of a
highly engaging and interactive staff retreat. The retreat provided a wonderful
opportunity for staff to connect with one another, strengthen relationships, and learn
more about our new Executive Director.

It was also an important time for planning, as teams came together to set priorities and
goals for the months ahead across our Pathways, Direct Entry, CEE, and Youth
Programs.

We look forward with excitement and optimism to this new chapter of leadership at AEA
and the opportunities it will bring for continued growth, impact, and community
empowerment.
